Sound System Sneaking Their Way to the Top

Over the past two years, Sneaky Sound System has been assiduously, and somewhat sneakily, some might say, climbing their way to the top of the table. The group’s beginnings were somewhat ominous. In fact, the group made themselves against a garage band with electronic dreams stage of achieving success.

Initially, the group has experienced success on a local basis in Sydney, where the group was formed. Local DJs and radio stations quickly became the single group Funky House Music tinted Blasted sound waves and Sneaky Sound System the first out. It did not take long for fans to catch on his single group and thus become devoted to this eclectic group.

Of course, which was primarily the multi-talented Connie Mitchell joined the group. Since then, the group went to reach a phenomenal success, even records that have certainly caught the attention of fans and critics. Their hit song “I Love It ‘it on the ARIA Top 100 singles charts and remained there for an incredible 70 weeks. This feat broke the record of 69 weeks was previously held by The Living End, during a period from 1997 to 1999.

Of course, this is not the only record Sneaky Sound System has been able to achieve in just two short years since the group began making their way not only of national but international success as well. In 2007, the group was nominated for six ARIA Music Awards. No other Australian artist produced the largest number of candidates from the same year. In addition, Sneaky Sound System tied with the number of nominations were received by an independent group or artist.

Other major achievements include sold-out stadium tours that drew devoted fans from all over the country.

While these are certainly tremendous achievements, especially for a band that is an act without a large independent record company support along the way, they will certainly not be the last of the cases we’ll see shattered by this extremely talented group. The next stage of the Tour of success for the group is certain to be famous. The group is already noticed by fans in both the UK and the USA. The release of Sneaky Sound System’s second album, due in Australian stores in July, will have a better idea of where the group is headed next. It will certainly be no surprise if the group garners more applications this year than last year or if their second album continues the trend by breaking chart records.
